Pichidangui – Sand and Surf

Located 280 km south of La Serena, the beautiful bay of Pichidangui is the perfect summer destination. In addition to offering visitors 5 km of white sand beaches and gentle surf, it a great place to practice water sports thanks to its afternoon breezes.

The climate is also very pleasant, peaking at around 30ºC during the summer and dropping to between 4 and 12ºC during the winter months. During the off-season, Pichidangui turns into a quiet and sparsely populated fishing village. But it comes alive each summer, offering a range of lodging options including campgrounds and hotels as well as plenty of places to enjoy delicious traditional Chilean cuisine.

"Peaceful" is the best word to describe Pichidangui. If you're yearning for the chance to relax under a beach umbrella as the waves roll in, this is the place for you.
